Texas Christian University

Texas Christian University (TCU) is a private, coeducational university located in Fort Worth, Texas. The campus is located on about three miles (8 km) from downtown Fort Worth. TCU is affiliated with, but not governed by, the Disciples of Christ. Its mascot is the "horned frog". For most varsity sports TCU competes in the Big 12 conference of the NCAA's Division I.
